You Drove Prospects To Your Site With Social Media – Now What?
By now you know that being active on social media sites is a great way to drive traffic to your website or blog. But what happens once those people have arrived at your site?
You need to have a way to capture those prospects before they click away forever. Having good content for them to enjoy once they land there is only one part of the equation. You want to offer them a way to provide their email address so that you have permission to keep in touch and build an ongoing relationship with them.
Once you’ve captured their information you then have a way to present any future events offerings or opportunities to them. But first you’ve got to hook them in! Here are the keys to accomplishing that.
Have a signup form for them to input at least their first name and primary email address. If you are using an email marketing service such as AWeber Constant Contact or any other which provides autoresponders you can easily create what is known as an “optin box” form and copy the code directly onto your website. I personally use AWeber and they provide instructions for creating the form as well as the HTML code.
Place the signup box in a prominent place. Studies have shown that one of the most effective places to put the box is in the upper righthand corner of the page “above the fold.” This simply means that you don’t want to make the person have to scroll down to see your form. When they visit your site you want their eyes to be drawn immediately to it. A good idea is to have the box stand alone without any distracting images or text around it.
Make it very clear what visitors need to do. In this case simpler is better. The less choices people are given the more likely they are to sign up. Describe what it is they get for giving you their information have a place for their name and email address a blurb on your privacy policy and a submit button.
Give an incentive for signing up with you. These days people are bombarded with information and offers online. You need to have a compelling reason for people to hand over their information. In exchange for doing so give them some type of freebiea special report an ecourse an audio file or something else that will appeal to them. Keep in mind that this offering does not have to be incredibly comprehensive. You can still put together something of value without it taking you more than a couple of hours to create.
Offer the ability to sign up on every page of your site. Because you never know from which page people will enter your website or blog be sure to place your form not only on the home page but each page that makes up your site.
Now when you drive all of that social media traffic that’s hungry for more of what you offer you have a way to continually keep in contact with them. They’ve decided to come and check you outdon’t leave them without a clear next step!

You Can Sell Anything On Ebay!
You Can Sell Anything On Ebay!
Do you like to fix old TVs? Maybe not but many people do. Think of all the garage sales where people buy items because they want to fix them up or restore them. This same idea can be applied to EBay. You can sell broken and old items on EBay. People will buy them!
If you do sell items that have wear and tear just make sure you let people know that the item is broken or used. You would be amazed at what people will buy. For example one lady sold 6 half used lipsticks for 53. Dont look at your old stuff as junk but as treasures. When they are things no one wants them but when they are called items everybody wants them.
So where should start when looking for items to sell on EBay?
Everything you own regardless of their condition has cash value. Everybody has something that they can sell. Look through your attic. Look through your closet. Look in your garage. Every area has items that you no longer need. You can sell these things on EBay.
Some of the items sold on EBay are crazy. One person sold a cane that was supposedly haunted by it previous owner. Guess how much the cane was sold for? 65000! Another person sold an empty bottle of cologne for 32!
You can also go to garage sales and thrift stores to find products to sell. This can be in addition to selling items that you already have.
How do you start selling on EBay? You need to list your item. Listing your item is a simple process.
Note that you only get 55 characters for your listing title. Grammar is irrelevant. However spelling is critical! If you spell things incorrectly then people cant find it.
The title you put in your listing has a huge affect on the number of people that view your website. For example a poor listing title can only bring in 2000 views while the correct listing title can bring in 12000 views.
There are more steps to follow that you should learn from an EBay guru. You can also peruse top power sellers on EBay and see how they set up their listings.
Still not convinced that you need EBay for your online business? Think again. One major advantage of EBay is that you can use it to build your client list on any subject in any market on any topic. EBay is a great way to build your database. You can post a link to your business website. This helps you to capture personal information and build your client list.

Word Of Mouth Marketing – Why It Is One Of
Word Of Mouth Marketing – Why It Is One Of The Most Effective Form Of Advertising
Word of mouth marketing continues to endure as the most effective form of advertising. Sharing enthusiasm with a friend or loved one carries more weight and sincerity than any form of marketing can provide. This is the reason so many businesses seek to spur the natural discussion of their products and services.
Research has shown that products and services including web sites that present an emotional connection to a consumer are those most likely to succeed at word of mouth marketing. If you can associate a highimpact emotion with your web sites presentation it is a great way to inspire word of mouth advertising amongst your potential customers. Consider the gamut of possibilities: sympathy sadness delight shock surprise intrigue. A bevy of possibilities exist for those seeking to incite an emotional response from their web site visitors.
Creating such a presentation requires multimedia impact. Technologies such as Flash and streaming video can help to create an effective method for an emotional impact. Turn your attention towards effective visuals rather than sound in order to ensure you do not intrude on user preference. Many site visitors do not desire to hear sounds they did not request upon entering your site.
If you cannot create an emotionally impactful presentation consider inciting word of mouth by inviting user participation. Creating insightful news and information using a blog is one way to inspire both a sense of community and inspire word of mouth marketing. If a user feels enfranchised by your blog they will not only spread their enthusiasm via word of mouth they will also return to your site again and again.
Blog comments can be used to gather competitive intelligence that can lead to further word of mouth interaction. Once you begin to understand the preferences and expectations of your users you can tailor your web site presentation and marketing to suit their interests. This will lead to greater interaction and a consistent prolonged enthusiasm for your brand by your users.
In the old days word of mouth advertising was the type of marketing you could only hope to incite.
However today if you take strides to viralize your web site today youre sure to make your customers lips move in the near future.
One simple way to do this is to offer a simple tell a friend method that not only creates many ‘told’ friends but also incentifies the ‘teller’ into telling more than just one friend.
